Reverend Mary Irby

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am excited to join this family of faith at Jones UMC as your pastor. I grew up a preacher's kid and cradle United Methodist in Oklahoma. I love the church and believe we have a powerful message of God's love and grace to offer this community and the world. 

I share my home with my four-footed daughter Scottie, a Heinz-57 mix who keeps me on my toes!

Worship Leader

Maya Rose 

Maya serves as the worship leader at Jones United Methodist Church, following nine years dedicated to music ministry. Previously, she led worship at Edmond First United Methodist Church and the UCO Wesley campus ministry. Maya holds a degree in musical theatre from the University of Central Oklahoma and shares her talents by teaching private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages. Her deepest passion lies in cultivating a nurturing atmosphere of love and inclusivity with God at the center of everything. Maya experiences profound spiritual connection during communal worship, cherishing these moments as her closest encounters with God. She warmly invites anyone inspired to share their musical gifts to join at any time.

Phoebe Dorman

Phoebe Dorman is a dedicated mother of three children: Bennett, Samuel, and Lola. She is married to John. Originally from Noble, Oklahoma, Phoebe earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2021. She lived in Jones from 2020 to 2022 before returning in 2024. Phoebe enjoys being active in her community and helping others.
