In the month of August I heard 3 different sermons on the topic of Matthew 14. This is the story of Jesus walking on the water. The third time I heard a sermon on the topic I thought “Wow, God must really think I need to hear this!” I don’t believe in coincidences. I will share what I learned.

I do hear many doors being opened and shut through the scriptures and even meander back to our website slogan Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors. John Ortberg writes, “ An open door is the great adventure of life because it means the possibility of being useful to God. God Moments
Can you believe it’s August? Seems like summer has flown by. Lots of people take vacations in the summer while their kids are out of school. I’ve seen some awesome vacation pictures posted by friends and family. Occasional thoughts of I wish I could be on that mountain or playing on that beach have filtered through my mind. Often what other people are doing seems so much more exciting than what I am doing.
